If this kid isn't a blackout in training, i don't know what is.  Look at the ferocity on his face as he is crushing the yellow peeps.  That is exactly what we are going to do this wednesday.

Game is at 745 on Field 4.  Be there to witness the blackouts crush some yellow team ass!

Kickin' Ass

This season is off to a damn good start.  Steamrolling the first two teams and poised to be back at the top of the Redwoods game has us sitting pretty.  So, let's keep our heads in the game and our livers on alert.  It is going to be a long season and i don't want anyone wimping out becuase they "have to work late" or "they said i will be fired if i show up hungover again".  We don't like excuses on this team, just domination.

New Blood

Looks like we are going to be mixing it up a bit this year with some new blood... Should be quite interesting to see how it all works out... Just kidding, we are going to stomp everyone and everything in our path to the championship!

Yellow Team the Eatly Years....

Alright. Not sure how it happened, but the Yellow Team has managed to work their way into second place. Tonight, we show them that we are playing at a higher level. Besides, if we can't beat these guys, we are going to have to do some serious reevaluation.

Team, we really need to work on the offense. Two close games in a row is really more than i can take. Additionally, we are taking that energy to the bar which is really hurting our flip cup performance. Unacceptable... we need to focus on our offensive strategies on the field, at the flip cup table, and in picking up people at the bar....

Luckily for us, Kristen brought her A-game this week. Walsh, Friedman, let's get it going next week!

Boys and girls of the Blackouts.... Last night was a close one. Team "in the pink" gave us a run for our money and we barely scraped by. I love close games, but that one was a little too close. Let's get our shit together!

Team, great work out there yesterday. Loving where this is going, so keep it up or you will be cut.... kidding, kind of... Also, let's get on that flip cup table and dominate like we did towards the end of the night.

Week 1

Good showing on the fields last week. Let's keep it up this week AND bring up our flip cup skills too.. then we will be truly unstoppable!

That's Right.... Mr. Drinkie Von Hammerstein will be out at the game to cheer us on and put the bad mojo on the WMC's.

Just a Note

Intrateam hooking up is certainly not frowned upon on the blackouts (actually it is highly encouraged see Spencer's Explanation...) HOWEVER... please note that it will get found out and it WILL be known to the entire team. Also, wrap it up, we don't need little blackouts ruining our season.

By the looks of what i saw last night and what i know that many of our returning players are capable, i am getting very excited for the season to start!

One Week to go!

That's right... Almost time for the fun to begin! I expect eveyone to be in top physical/drinking condition for the first game (Wednesday, April 9th). So, if you haven't been running laps and pounding beers, consider this your fair warning. The Blackouts are going to be facing a changed league this year and I don't want someones excuse of, "But I had to work early..." getting in the way of our run to the glorious first place spot.

It is our championship to win or lose... Who's with me?

White Trash Party

It is time to celebrate everyone's favorite Rolling Blackouts' All Star... That's right, i am talking about Jessi... why would you think that i was talking about joe or ben, that is just weird...
Anyways, where was i... oh yeah, Jessi's birthday party is this friday, october 19th at her place on california street. It is white trash themed so most of you should fit right in with your normal attire!!! Seriously though, dress up or prepare to be turned away at the door. No one likes 'that guy'. Starts at 7PM, so be there at like 4PM to help preparty... and by preparty, i mean make it extremely awkward for everyone involved.

And remember to bring something to drink as i don't know how long the supplies will last at their pad.

End of Season Party

After yet another great season of kickball, it is time to send this bad boy off proper. The party is going to be at Sugar this Friday, October 12th at 9PM. Open bar as long as the money lasts (usually a good hour and a half to two hours) and guests are welcome (they will be charged a cover). So get your act together and get there on Friday night. These BALLS aren't going to party themselves!
